摘要
The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) through a 2e(-) pathway offers a feasible solution for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) production and on-site application. However, most present catalysts are powders and exhibit low activity and selectivity. Herein, we report a monolithic cobalt-single-atom electrode for synthesis of H2O2. The electrode has a H2O2 selectivity of above 80% from 0.3 V to 0.7 V vs. RHE in 0.1 M HClO4. A flow cell with this electrode as the cathode is demonstrated and yields H2O2 at a rate of 606 mmol g(cat)(-1) h(-1) at -1.6 V.
